Steve Jobs on his Successful Business Model

By January 18, 2011 15 Comments

My model for business is The Beatles: They were four guys that   kept each others negative tendencies in check; they balanced each other. And the total was greater than the sum of the parts. Great things in business are not done by one person, they are done by a team of people.

Steve Jobs – for the Love of Reason

where you can watch the whole conversation between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates

A book about Steve Jobs I want to recommend

“The Innovation Secrets of Steve Jobs” by Carmine Gallo

worth reading.

Shows His way of thinking, and connects it to many other ultra successful entrepreneurs, geniuses of our time. Very practical, a book that you can immediately put to use, and improve your own life and business.
I personally bought the book from Audible, in an audio format, and listened to it several times, while walking in the Dolomites in Italy. An astonishing material. Shows the power of reason that leads to simplicity and products that satisfy the needs of millions. let’s hear other readers:

“A “THINK DIFFERENT” APPROACH TO INNOVATION– Based on the Seven Guiding Principles of Apple CEO Steve Jobs
In his acclaimed bestseller The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs author Carmine Gallo laid out a simple step-by-step program of powerful tools and proven techniques inspired by Steve Jobs’ legendary presentations. Now, he shares the Apple CEO’s most famous, most original, and most effective strategies for sparking true creativity–and real innovation–in any workplace. ” – Amazon

The book reveals some of Steve Jobs’ principles:

Do What You Love.
Think differently about your career.
Put a Dent in the Universe.
Think differently about your vision.
Kick Start Your Brain.
Think differently about how you think.
Sell Dreams, Not Products.
Think differently about your customers.
Say No to 1,000 Things.
Think differently about design.
Create Insanely Great Experiences.
Think differently about your brand experience.
Master the Message.
Think differently about your story

Highly recommended. Well written by the Carmine Gallo.

  • This model is one of the proofs that this man, Steve Jobs, was truly one of the great leaders we’ve ever come to see. Leaders always believe in their people and in their talent. We can see a lot of our leaders today who take credit for other people’s ingenuity and hard work. Steve Jobs have always said that his and his company’s success were brought about by a team of great people. This man will truly be missed.
